Christmas Champagne Bar

Boy what a busy couple of weeks. I have been trying so hard to get another post up, but my camera has been giving me troubles. I don't know why but I can't get decent pictures of my son's room, which in a way I'm glad because I've added some more to that room that I'm excited to show you. If you follow me on Instagram then you know I've done a make over in there. Eventually I'll get it all up but for now, I have a fun little post for you...

I kept seeing everyone posting holiday décor. I just wasn't feeling it yet. Maybe because it's still like 70 degrees outside and I'm just not feeling in the spirit. I haven't gotten to fully appreciate the fall season because of the weather so I can't possibly jump to Christmas already! Plus I've never decorated for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. This year just seems rushed to me, but anyway... I went to Target this past weekend and  instantly got inspired. Every time I go there I get inspired to do something new. Their dollar spot gets me every time.

I see everyone doing hot chocolate bars in their homes for the holidays and I love them, but we don't drink hot chocolate often so I thought that would be silly. I do however, drink wine and champagne quite often so I thought I would do a champagne bar in my home. It's way more festive anyway! I wanted to get some early Christmas décor up for some inspiration and this is what came together in about 30 minutes after my very long trip to Target.

It's no secret that I love copper and gold and these champagne glasses from TjMaxx just jumped into my cart. I wasn't mad about it. I do plan on painting the little sled and the cake stand to use in other areas of my house this winter but I thought I'd do something more colorful in this post. Red is my least favorite color of all time, but it screams Christmas.

Everything on this dresser is from Target except for the thrifted stuff (trays, candles, and 1960 bucket) and the champagne glasses, and bottle stopper, which is actually a drawer knob. Those are both from TjMaxx. The plaid cloth is a blanket scarf from Target dollar spot. I love using scarves in my décor, they're just so cozy. I made the pom pom garlands with thread, a needle, and some poms from Walmart. The frame is thrifted and the little "merry and bright" sign is from Target.

It's funny because behind this cute little champagne bar, is a complete mess. I've been purging my house to get rid of things and it's currently a nightmare. But that's life and I won't lie about it. Every time I look at these pictures, I think of my hoarder mess just 3 feet away and it makes me laugh.

I hope you enjoyed this little champagne bar of mine. I'm excited to put more holiday décor up in my house to give you some inspiration for your own home. Have a great rest of the week, friends and thanks for stopping by to see what I'm up to! Cheers!
