Baby Rowen's Nursery Tour

modern eclectic boys nursery

Here it is!!! Way late... but late is better than never! Baby Rowen Scott Nave's room is complete and he loves it! Originally when I made the inspiration board for this room, I had a baby girl in mind. I SERIOUSLY thought this baby was going to be a girl... It was just in my gut! BUT the doctors proved me wrong! So I made some tweaks to this room to make it more "boyish". You can see the original plans for the nursery HERE... Let's see what it looks like!

White crib in nursery

A little different than the original plan, but not much. I was going to paint the crib gold (and that may still happen) but life got away from me for a while there!
I don't mind it white...

The sconces (HERE), wallpaper (HERE) and crib (HERE) are all from Amazon. I spray painted the sconces with THIS gold spray paint.

I added a couple extra seats in here because everyone wants to be where the baby is, amirite?????? The black painting on the shelf was made by my 3 year old <3

Don't worry, the elephant comes out when he's in the crib!

I turned my grandparents old china cabinet into his closet because in this old house, we have very limited closet space and the closet in here is used for extra storage and diapers....
I just added some baskets and spring rods to hang his clothes.

The changing table was given to me by my boss and it works perfect! She used it as her changing table with her daughter. It's actually a desk, but it's amazing as a changing table.

I LOVE having the light above the changing table. It not only provides light for me at night, but the edison bulb puts off some heat so he is more comfortable. My first son LOVED his clothes off. The kid was always naked! LOL but this one absolutely hates it. He cries until we put his clothes back on, poor guy!
