Wallpaper Feature Wall: Pros and Cons

Hi, friends! I had a very productive day outside today. It's so crazy how much the weather changes here in Missouri. Today it was 60 degrees and I had all of the windows and doors open. Just last week, school was cancelled because of the bad weather... But I'm not complaining. I've been dreaming about spring and to have a spring like day today was much needed. I got so much done. Last weekend, we went to Target (surprise) and I spotted this brick stick on wall paper. I thought I'd give it a shot and see how I liked it. I have some pros and cons to share with you today...

Pros:
--It's super easy to put up. I love that you can take it off and on to adjust it as you go because it's just a big sticker.
--You don't have to get messy and use water to put it up. It's already sticky.
--It's not too expensive. Each roll was $30 and it took us exactly 3 rolls to do this wall. I mean if you do a whole room, it could get pricy but to just have a feature wall like we do here, it's not too bad.
--It's textured and the pattern is very life like. It looks like real brick.

Cons:
--The pattern doesn't seem to match up. If you look closely, you can tell it's wallpaper because we couldn't get the pattern to match up exactly with the next one. Some of them would start to line up and as we went down, it stopped lining up. I hung stuff up to take away from the lines but it's still kind of annoying. Maybe there's a trick to it that I don't know about? I read the directions and I didn't see anything.

This is the room you walk in when you come into our house from the front door so I wanted something interesting on this wall. Now if only I could disguise that huge TV my husband just HAD to have...

Overall at the end of the day I'm happy with it. It adds that feature wall that I've been wanting for a while and looks pretty realistic. My husband loves industrial style décor (so not me) so when I said I wanted wallpaper on this wall, we both could agree on this one because it's charming and has that industrial brick feel.

Let me know if you've tried this stick on wallpaper and if you have any tips for hanging it up to get the pattern to match! I'd love to hear from you and as always thank you for stopping by to see what's up in our little farmhouse!

This is what was going on behind the scenes while I was taking these pictures :) Have a wonderful week!!
