Super Simple 4th of July Center Piece

Yay! Back in my happy place. It feels so great to be back. I'm super excited for all the things coming here. I've never done a fourth of July post before so I figured it would be fun! Considering my husband is a Vet, I should probably do more posts like this. I love this Holiday so much. I'm not a fan of fireworks but I love how everyone comes together to celebrate America. It makes me so proud to get to live here...

I didn't plan on putting a post up this early in the week but I had a half day today at work and some American flags and decided I'd show you what I did with them in our kitchen! This centerpiece is SUPER simple. Like not even brag worthy... but it sure is cute and festive for the holiday.

Literally all I did was put some flags in a thirfted jar I had and added some fruit from my fridge onto the table. I love decorating with food. I thought these blueberries and strawberries were the perfect red and blue touch. You can get these flags almost anywhere. I've seen them all over this year. The large bowl with the blueberries is from Homegoods, same with the cutting board. The blue napkin and table runner are both from the Target dollar spot.

Every time I do a table setting with food, little mister here decides it's time for a snack :) he got in just as I was finishing up with the pictures and I couldn't help but snap some pics of him. After all, he's my favorite thing in the world...

I wanted to also share the back of my kitchen because my neighbor made us some mulberry jam and it's so delicious. We love it on our pancakes in the morning. I plan on making them in the morning for the fourth for my family with some blueberries on top. YUM!

If anyone wants the recipe, just send me a message on FACEBOOK or INSTAGRAM  and I'd be happy to ask her for it and give it to you!

I hope you enjoyed this glimpse into my kitchen this holiday! I loved creating this simple centerpiece today. It made me excited for tomorrow and all the summer events coming up! This centerpiece would be adorable outside too!
Follow me everywhere!!!

Ps! Don't forget to go vote on my last post HERE! I need your help!!!

Next are some photobombs from my little red head... Enjoy! <3

He ended up with all the strawberries out of the bowl and half of them with a bite out of them. Toddler life.... Have a wonderful Holiday!!!
