Easy and Delicious Orange Lemonade

Summertime is in full force over here. We have pretty much lived at the pool this year, and around any body of water that will have us. We are living it up and loving every second of it. I made this yummy lemonade and thought I'd share how I did it. It's so easy, it doesnt seem blog worthy... but I can't just keep it to myself! It has a funny little story of how it came about too...

First I'll share the story, it's short don't worry LOL

I was making lemonade for my family because they were all coming over for lunch (my mom, dad and grandparents) I was just going to make a simple lemonade but as I started going, I realized I didn't have enough lemons... I kept having my husband taste it because he is my guinea pig (who came up with that phrase?!) , and he said it needed more lemons... I had run out so I almost threw it out when he said "put an orange in it!" GASP! He's brilliant (sometimes ;)) so I did and this orange lemonade was born... It was a beautiful day.

Yall, I'll be honest... I'm not the best with measurements so bare with me..

RECIPE:

ORANGE LEMONADE

6-7 large lemons
1 large orange
fill pitcher 3/4 of the way up with water
(see what I mean about measurements?)
1 3/4 cup of sugar (add more as desired)

Squeeze lemons into pitcher with a strainer to catch the seeds, mix in sugar and stir until dissolved. Serve over ice with lemon and orange slices for garnish.

It was so good and went FAST! I hope you make it. I've added a little printable at the bottom of this for you to print off and put in a frame!! If you print it off, tag me on facebook or instagram, I'd love to see it in your kitchen!!!
Come be my friend!!
