Happy Easter weekend, friends!! I have today off so I'm getting a lot done in my interior design world.... One of my favorite neutral colors is navy blue. It can be used with so many different styles and colors and in so many ways. Today I came up with some of my favorite ways to use navy blue in interior design for you and I hope you enjoy!!

Furniture and wall decor: I have wanted a navy blue couch for so long. I just think they look so classic and bring so much drama into a space. If you're not willing to commit to a large piece of furniture like this, maybe some throw pillows on your couch and wall hangings above to tie it all together.

Cabinets: I've been thinking a lot about our forever home lately and I want to try navy blue cabinets with gold pulls. It's a way to bring in color in a big way but not overwhelm you because it's a neutral color that goes well with anything. I love how they used orange in both of these pictures. Orange and blue are on opposite sides of the color wheel so they compliment each other very well.

Front door: I told you in my last Friday Feature HERE that I wanted to paint my front door blue. That's still my plan but we had a very big issue with termites recently (old house probs) and we may just need to replace the whole door and frame around it so it may take a little longer than expected. I suppose I could still paint the door we have now but do I really want to spend all that time if we have to replace it?? LOL

Wallpaper: Y'all know my love for wallpaper runs deep. Adding fun bold navy blue wallpaper to a small powder room makes such a huge impact. I love having fun in bathrooms because they're small spaces so it's not overwhelming whereas this wallpaper in a large living room floor to ceiling could be a little much. You could break it up with white wainscoting half way up the wall and it would work.

Tile: Again, fun in the bathroom!! Although this tile is subtle enough, it would look pretty anywhere. I love how dark it is and how white the rest of the bathroom is. Such a pretty combination, and that gold though! In love with this bathroom. You could also have fun with your kitchen backsplash with a navy blue tile and white cabinets. Pop of color!
