Happy almost Thanksgiving!! This year skiirrrrrrted by me!! I am deep in all the Christmas activities and events over here and I love it, but it does get stressful. I'm on a Holiday Home Tour locally here this year and I've barely had enough time to finish my house! I finally got my dining room finished so I thought I'd share that with you today...
One of my favorite things to do for Christmas is add ribbon and sprigs to my chairs. It just dresses it all up in a pretty way and adds so much to your decor!
I wanted a "bar" tree but I found that ornaments can be super expensive! I got these seltzer ornaments at the end of the year last year at Aldi and then I grabbed these little champagne flutes from the gas station and stuck them in the tree as well. I'm probably going to add a few more things to it as I find them but so far, I'm happy with it!
I decided to keep my faux florals out and just try to incorporate them into my decor. I did that last year and it worked out! Basically I just added some sparkly stems in. I threw garland and lights everywhere and called it Christmas! This garland around my light just ended up fitting perfectly.
That's it for the dining room! Knowing me, some things may change but for now this is what we're working with. I hope you and your family have a lovely Thanksgiving!!!
