I have a SUPER easy DIY for you!! There's a few things I love in this life and fall, cheap decor and simplicity happen to be three of them. I'm very spontaneous and a little impatient when it comes to my home decor. I love creating simple DIY projects and turning them into something adorable for my home. I don't like to spend a lot of time on DIY projects because I know i'll be spending most of my time putting it together (and trust me I spend a LOT of time styling my house) sometimes I'll work on something for so long my back starts to hurt and my husband has to make me sit down! Haha I'm cray cray!! Any-who.... When I saw these printables from Ella Claire I knew I had to incorporate them in my house somewhere but I didn't know where...
I had gotten most of my early fall decor done and my last project were these printables. I cut them out and attached them to a piece of twine with clothespins. I knew I wanted a centerpiece for my island in my kitchen so I grabbed some of my favorite glass jars and set them on a white tray I had with a thrifted towel on top.
I grabbed some sticks from my yard and put them in the jars...
Did I mention I love cheap decor?! My husband (as he does most days) thought I was crazy.
I then (very spontaneously and not knowing what I was doing) tied the printable banner to the sticks to cross in front of the jars. I've gotten a little banner crazy lately. I believe I have one in every room now so I knew I didn't want it on the wall or anything.
I ended up loving it and I plan on keeping it up (somewhere) for the whole season.
