Simple Neutral Fall Centerpiece

I love simple décor that makes a big impact. If I can throw something I've had in my head together in just a few minutes, and it look like I put way more effort into it, I'm a happy girl. Funny story: One of the boys I watch on the weekend came over and asked "why do you have so many pumpkins? It's not even fall!" I told him to go play with some toys and don't worry about it (haha) he said "But the leaves are still green!!!" He was so concerned for my premature abundance of pumpkins around my house. I couldn't help but laugh. When a four year old tells you that you have a problem... You may have a problem...

I love to switch up my table decorations. It's the first thing you see when you walk into my house, so I like for it to be different from time to time.

This time I just took an old shutter I had propped up in my living room and added these fall leaf stems from Michaels on top of them. I added some white pumpkins on top of that and felt like it needed more contrast so I threw in some pinecones. And that's it! Super simple but looks pretty and like I tried a little harder than I did :P

The scarf on the bench my dad made was my grandmothers. I thought it added some more texture and brightened up the benches I really need to paint... She gave me two of them and I just love them. I'm sure she didn't intend for me to decorate with them though... Oops!

I got these place mats from Target in the dollar spot and just draped them over the tops of the chairs. I honestly put them there to get them out of the way and ended up liking how it looked! Don't you love when that happens?? The pillows on the chairs are also from Target.

This centerpiece was so simple and anyone can do it. I really hope you enjoyed and got some inspiration for your own home. As I've said many times, I love fall and I especially love decorating for fall and coming up with new ideas to share. Thank you as always for stopping by to see what I'm up to in this old house. Have a wonderful rest of your weeks, sweets!!!
