Hi friend! Happy September! Can't believe how fast this year has gone. I'm not mad about it. It's been a wild one. I started bringing out my fall/halloween decor recently and I decided to spook up my fireplace in my living room! I went with a kind of glam purple theme this year. Let's go see...
The inspiration for this mantle came from the garland I found at Joann's Fabric. It is so pretty and I just loved the colors!! I grabbed some black and gold accessories and I think the colors look beautiful together!
Two things to note... I need to re paint my fireplace. It's very beat up haha oops! I can't believe it's been a year since I made this faux fireplace. Check out that process HERE
And also, don't light candles close to your tv. Mine weren't even that close (looks like they are from this angle) but my tv got super hot and changed color.... BIG OOPS!!! It fixed itself but I was a little nervous there for a minute after I blew them out.... UGH Haha anyway!!!...
