Hello, all! Happy Sunday! I did a little project this weekend that made a huge impact but costs very little money. My favorite projects to do! In the old house, I had hooks everywhere to hold things. By the front door, in the boys room, in our kitchen, everywhere! I was missing that because I'm constantly trying to find places to hang bags, towels, all the things...
I decided I wanted some hooks on the island because I am always here getting the boys stuff and my stuff ready in the evening for the next day and the island quickly gets covered in STUFF! I found these hooks HERE on Amazon and thought it was a great price! You get 6 in a pack and I only needed 3 but figured I would find another place to put them and I quickly did!
I put one of them by my kitchen window for kitchen towels and then I added the other two to this little wall in the boys hallway. I grabbed some of my leftover dollar tree contact paper HERE and stuck it on this wall. I added the hooks and a cute little picture and now we have another functional and cute area in our home!
The plan is to let the boys use these for their backpacks, hats, jackets, etc. In my opinion you can never have too many hooks! I'm always using them!
With every home I've lived in, I've tried to take full advantage of every nook and wall space. I've lived in small homes or apartments my entire adult life so finding ways to get creative and use every bit of space in a functional way while also keeping it pretty is my goal! You could use command hooks, or regular hooks but adding a little fun with gold or hand painted hooks makes it a pretty space even when stuff isn't hanging on them. Also adding a little pop of wallpaper in an unexpected place makes it that much more fun!
All together, these two projects cost me under $14. I think that's pretty good for how much I'm going to use them! I hope you enjoyed this post and got some inspiration for your own home!! Have a beautiful week, friends!!
