End of Summer Dining Room and a New Treasure

Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend!! Mine was super busy and it feels good to be starting a new week. I'm over here writing about this cute little bust I got today!! I seriously brought it home, painted it and am already blogging about it because I'm just so in love with him. I'm also sharing my neutralized end of summer dining room. Let's go see...

I thought I'd show the rest of my dining room along with my little treasure I got because I have been neutralizing it for the cooler months coming up. I love decorating for the end of summer with some simple flowers and neutral decor. All the pops of color come out in the beginning of spring and last until around august and then I get the itch to neutralize.

I recently changed up this little area in my dining room and it was cute before but adding the little bust just made it that much cuter! I drug up an old suitcase I had in the garage that I got from my dad's storage room. I added some of my picnic baskets on top, a large vase for lots of height to fill the negative space, some greenery and my new (old) bust.

I just think he looks so cute. My friend text me yesterday as she was at Good Will and asked if I wanted these two busts. He came with a sister lol and I think she will end up in my room somewhere. I said OH YES PLEASE I LOVE THEM and she said they were only $4!! Score! So I went to pick them up this morning, drug out my white paint I have on hand and here we are! Here's the before of him...

And after...

I just think he's the cutest little addition to my dinging room and I'm excited to find a place for the girl bust. Bjorn says she should go in my bathroom. Maybe she can hold some necklaces?? We will see and I'll of course, share with you!! I hope you enjoyed and got some inspiration for your own home and have a wonderful week, my friends!!
