Hello my friends!! I hope you've had a beautiful week!! I got outside this weekend and made a couple changes to my front porch/door for fall! It was so beautiful out so I figured it was the perfect time to have my door open to paint my front door. Let me tell you though... It was a bit stressful...
Bjorn had the little neighbor kid come over and they were running in and out of the house. Little Rowen can't seem to get out the door without holding onto it!!! So he smudged it quite a few times. I had never had so many kids running through my house until the day I decided to paint my front door. Of course haha but it was worth it because I'm loving the color!!! Before it was all white, which was ok but I wanted it to be more bold. I started out just painting the door and then I decided I wanted to paint the trim around it too to make it look bigger and I love the look!! For the door color I used the paint I had left over from my fireplace makeover HERE, Space Black by Benjamin Moore.
The only thing new here is the mum. I had the ferns already, had all the pumpkins, mats, hair and scarf. I wanted to keep this super simple and not spend any money on it. I was going to buy a wreath but I saw that scarf and thought why not try it and I love how it looks! I turned on my string lights above and now I have a super cozy and cheap front porch makeover for fall. Before you go buy anything new, just shop your house!! You'd be surprised at what you can find! I'm definitely going to be adding some fun halloween touches to it soon so stay tuned for that. I hope you enjoyed and got some inspiration for your own home!! Have a beautiful day, friends!
Love you,
