Vintage Chair Makeover

Happy Tuesday, friend! Hope your week is going well. Mines been super productive because back to school has me in high gear to get my house in order. Also it's Virgo season so that might have something to do with it ;) I recently decided I wanted to makeover this cutie chair I found on the side of the road a couple years ago. Here's how it went...

Here's the before... I loved it. So cute. I loved the fabric and chippy white frame so much in my old house HERE. After bringing it here and putting it in my dining room, I decided it needed a refresh.

I grabbed some of my black paint I already had and went to Joann's to get some animal print. I feel like animal print can be super cheesy or super classy. Depending on how you do it so for this I really wanted to get the fabric in store rather than finding some online. You never know what exactly you'll get online.

Originally I had kind of a fawn type material in my head but when I saw this one I thought it would go perfect with the black paint. I love how it adds a bit of whimsy glam to this area of my home!

This wine velvet pillow just adds a little pop of color that I love. I'm so in love with this chair! It was super easy to do. I just popped the bottom off, painted the frame, wrapped the bottom in fabric and stapled it on. No sewing, just simple! Exactly how I like my DIY's.

I think she fits the space so much better. What do you think??
Thank you so so much for stopping by. It means the world to me. I hope you have a lovely week!!

Love you,

Let's be friends!!
